GL codes bring a team chart of accounts into the same system that sold the tickets. Set it up once, then assign codes to ticket revenue, taxes, fees, and donation funds, so every dollar lands in the account your bookkeeper already uses. The sales tax report and transaction exports come out already tagged.
The Finances General Ledger report pulls it all together: ticket sales, fees (including organizer-fee components), refunds, and payouts, each mapped to its GL code and ready to export for QuickBooks, Xero, or whatever system you close the month in. For venues running multiple rooms or entities, settlement output reads like your books, not a translation exercise.
