Chart of accounts and GL codes for cleaner financials

You can now set up a team-level chart of accounts and assign general ledger codes to taxes, ticket revenue, and the sales tax report. That makes reconciling your ticketing income with your accounting system far simpler.

Reconciling ticket sales with your accounting software shouldn't feel like detective work. We've added support for general ledger codes throughout Opendate, so your ticketing revenue flows cleanly into QuickBooks, Xero, or whatever system you use to manage your books.

Here's how it works: Set up your chart of accounts once at the team level, then assign GL codes to ticket types, taxes, and fees. When you pull your sales tax report or export transaction data, everything is already tagged with the right codes. No more manual mapping, no more spreadsheet gymnastics, no more wondering which revenue bucket that VIP ticket upgrade belongs in.

This is especially useful if you run multiple events or venues under one organization. Your accountant gets clean data that matches your existing structure, and you spend less time translating between systems. Month-end close just got a lot less painful.
