Sometimes you need to move someone to a different seat. Maybe a group wants to sit together and you're shuffling things around to accommodate them. Maybe there's a broken seat, or a last-minute stage configuration change, or a VIP section that needs to expand. Whatever the reason, until now, the only way to move a ticket holder was to refund their original ticket and issue a new one—which meant processing a refund, collecting payment again, and generating unnecessary fees and paperwork for everyone involved.
Now you can reassign any fan to a different reserved seat without touching their payment at all. When you're looking at a ticket in your dashboard, you'll see a Change Seat button. Click it, pick the new seat from your venue map, and you're done. The fan gets an updated ticket with their new seat assignment, and their original payment stays intact. No refunds, no re-charging, no awkward emails explaining why they're seeing two transactions on their credit card statement.
This works exactly how you'd expect it to when you're dealing with a venue full of real people and real-world situations. You stay in control, your fans get taken care of, and nobody wastes time on workarounds that create more problems than they solve.
