When you're trying to get the word out about a show, the last thing you need is to wrestle with your tools. We've redesigned the first step of creating a broadcast to get you from idea to send much faster. The new experience is cleaner, more intuitive, and does more of the thinking for you.
The biggest change is how we handle audience segments. Instead of starting from scratch every time, Opendate now suggests relevant segments based on the event you're promoting. If you're broadcasting about a jazz night on Friday, you'll see segments like past jazz attendees or people who've bought tickets to similar shows. No more hunting through lists or trying to remember which segment is which—the right audiences surface automatically.
This means less time clicking around and more time crafting messages that actually resonate. You'll spend your energy on what matters: writing copy that sells tickets and fills seats. Whether you're a venue sending dozens of broadcasts a month or a promoter touching base with your crowd before a big weekend, this update makes the whole process feel lighter and more natural.
