When someone clicks through to one of your events from Google, social media, or a shared link, you want them to land somewhere that represents your brand. Until now, that's meant they'd see an Opendate-hosted event page by default. That works for some venues, but many of you have told us you'd rather send people directly to your own website where you control the experience, the design, and what else they might discover.
You can now set a default redirect at the venue level. Turn it on in your venue settings, add your preferred URL, and every public event page will automatically send visitors to your website instead. You stay in control of the first impression, and fans land exactly where you want them. If you ever need the Opendate page to show up instead for a specific event, you can override the redirect on a per-event basis.
This is especially useful if you're already embedding Opendate's checkout on your site, running your own marketing campaigns, or simply want to keep people in your ecosystem rather than bouncing between platforms. Your website becomes the hub, and ticketing happens right where your fans already are.
