When you're running ads on Meta, you need tracking that actually works. Until now, the Meta pixel on Opendate only fired on certain pages, which meant you were missing data on how people browsed your events before buying. And when conversions weren't attributed correctly, you were essentially flying blind on which ads were worth the spend.
We've rebuilt how Meta pixel tracking works across the platform. Your pixel now fires on collection pages and listing pages, so you can see the full journey someone takes before they buy a ticket. We've also fixed conversion attribution by ensuring click IDs pass through into the embedded checkout. That means when someone clicks your ad, browses a few shows, and buys tickets, Meta knows it came from your campaign.
There's one more improvement: when you save a pixel, you now choose exactly which venue it applies to. This gives you granular control if you're managing multiple venues or working with different promoters who need separate tracking. No more gaps where certain shows went untracked because the pixel wasn't applied correctly. You'll have complete visibility into what's working, so you can make smarter decisions about where to put your marketing budget.
